The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is a process by which we prepare non-baptized adults or older children to receive the Sacraments of Initiation and become full-fledged community members. This process includes a time of learning, a time of discernment, and a gradual inclusion into the sacramental life of the community. There are several steps to prepare for baptism, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion, and the RCIA process guides those seeking entrance into the Church through those steps.
